MOM ENERGY

It just hits differently.

The Rhythm

Summer is the season of expansion, vitality + glow.

Longer days invite outward energy —movement, connection, and creativity —while warm nights soften us into reflection and restoration.

Element: Fire + Water
Energy: Active, expressive, heart-centered
Focus: Hydration, nourishment, pleasure
Mantra: Shine, but stay soft.

Sun & Moon Notes

Summer Solstice (around June 20–21): The longest day of the year—ideal for intention-setting, gratitude rituals, and sun-soaked grounding.

Full Moons: Emotional illumination—perfect for release rituals, ocean dips, and journaling.

New Moons: Reset energy—plant seeds (literally or metaphorically), start fresh routines.

Wellness tip: Rise with the sun at least once a week—morning light supports mood, hormones, and skin health.

Sea & Tidal Wisdom

High tides = EXPANSION

Best for manifestation, bold decisions, and social energy

Low tides = RELEASE
Declutter, detox, reflect, and rest

Saltwater is summer’s medicine:

  • Clears stagnant energy
  • Supports skin healing
  • Boosts mood and circulation

No ocean nearby? Create your own ritual with a sea salt bath + essential oils.

Garden Cycles

Think of your body like a tropical garden:

Plant (New habits): Hydration rituals. Antioxidant layering, Movement that feels like play

Nourish: Seasonal fruits, Mineral-rich greens, Collagen-supporting foods

Prune: Over-scheduling, Processed foods, Energy-draining habits

Rituals

  • Sunset walks (barefoot if possible)
  • Journaling under moonlight
  • Light dinners + herbal tinctures
  • Digital detox after dusk
  • Eat fruit with your hands
  • Let your hair air dry in the sun
  • Wear less and feel free in your body
  • Do nothing + on purpose

Summer isn’t just a season—it’s a state of being.

Soft, radiant, nourished, and alive.

About The Brands

They deeply care about their creative contribution.

The Uranian Approach

I have been passionate about Astrology since my late 20ies and began my profound studies with Dr. Craig Martin at his LA School of Astrology. I then furthered my education with Tony Howard at his Astrology University. I will finish and graduate from the 4-year Astrology University program in 2023.

I am a student of symbols.

Astrology is about learning the language of symbols and translating them. I’d also encourage you to know this cosmic alphabet yourself (it’s not rocket science). Suppose the natal chart is your inner film script. In that case, the astrologer can find the main plot, spotlight what challenges or delights the “hero” could face, and help discover what makes your story fascinating, suspenseful, and unique.

Abysse

I was born and raised on the main island of Tahiti. Growing up on an island shapes you. Nature is omnipresent and revered. Children spend hours in the sun, in the salt water and climbing trees. Life is simple. Yet, this simple life is now a luxury in an over stimulated world.

In the islands, connection is key. Connection with people, with nature with elements. This shaped my mind and created our ethos.

My dream vision of a company: 'Produce less, produce well.' Sustainability should not be a marketing tool, it should be a requirement.

The Sclpt Co.

As a professional surfer, Malia’s competitive career saw her spending countless months on the road traveling. Kandace, being an avid surfer and traveler herself, they both realized most times they were missing a key component during their workouts abroad - heat and sweat.

Committed to sculpting the mind, body and spirit through holistic practices as individuals and as a brand, the sclpt co’s goal is to promote health and wellness by naturally enhancing and complementing your chosen workout and/or recovery routine. “We strive to consciously sculpt into the best version of ourselves daily and want to inspire others to do the same.”

If you've ever had the chance to visit Malibu, you'll immediately feel its unique energy. As someone born and raised here, it feels like I've come full circle, bringing my dream to life right across the street from where I grew up. Being part of such a close-knit community has taught me the importance of the people around us and how much they can influence our values, perspectives, and personalities. Malibu has always been a haven for those who cherish art, critical thinking, health, connection to nature, and individuality.

I’ve always felt comfortable and inspired in the retail environment and have so much fun being a part of it! Retail is where objects come alive, and I find pure joy in the art of discovery, sourcing unique items, and creating a captivating space that tells their stories. Bringing my vision to life in my hometown has been an incredible honor and dream come true.

From Malibu with love,
Amanda

Solstice Skin Studio

Kirstie originally studied psychology and began her career working as a clinical assistant for multiple in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation programs for young adults.

Kirstie always emphasized the importance of self-care to her clients and encouraged them to practice simple self-care rituals in hopes that these seemingly trivial practices and habits would then blossom into a deeper self-love that reverberates throughout every aspect of their lives. The results of her methods proved true. Time and time again, Kirstie witnessed the healing and transformative power of a consistent and disciplined prioritization of self-care.

Kirstie's goal is to unite the lessons she learned as a clinical assistant with her gift of facial sculpting to create a healing and transformative experience for her clients.

Malibu Sandals

Through our explorations, the huaraches sandal's part in the history of the late 1950's popularization of surf culture in Southern California fascinated us. A pop-culture version of this was born from this 1950's marketing mix of Beach Blanket Bingo, The Beach Boys and Dick Dale - and it was all 'happening on Pacific Coast Highway.'

Reeling from this were local die-hard surfers of the PCH. They found solace in the uncrowded waves and beaches, south past the US border, of Baja Mexico. Alas, 'The Baja Boom' was born.

Our mission is simple: create the most comfortable, stylish and modern sandals on the planet using innovative, cruelty-free materials.

Found by Lucy

I grew up going to a special beach and shelling with my family. My mission is to remind everyone of the gifts given to us by Mother Nature. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, because every shell is different - just like us. You are YOU, a one-of-a-kind human. My hopes are that when anyone wears a FBL piece, they feel a sense of graounding, grace, confidence and fierceness.

If you resonate with a piece, feel it, love it - then make it yours. Each piece is meant for someone. Each piece is made with so much care and intention. This jewelry is a representation of femininity. Stones and shells are beautiful and may appear delicate. They are elements that need to be taken care of while simultaneously, they are strong. They have been tousled around in the waters, beaches, undergrounds, shaped by hands and feet, polished by sand or metal, but still stand with so much poise and beauty. They are powerful and magnetic.

Las Olitas

I studied Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design in Paris, where my love for creating beautiful things really came to life. That passion eventually carried me across the world to Oahu at 21, a place I’d dreamed of calling home for years.

Hawaii’s vibrant colors, fragrant flowers, and effortless magic inspired me to blend my Spanish and French roots with the island lifestyle I fell in love with. That’s how Las Olitas  “Little Waves” was born.

Today, I design every print and stitch with the same energy that inspires me every day: surfing in warm Hawaiian waters, the spirit of Aloha, and the artistic eye I shaped in Paris.

Sister Sister

How do you balance being Moms and business owners?

MG: I love being a mom and I love working, I’m definitely not a stay at home mom energy vibe! I make sure to have special days with our daughter, Punkie. We do everything and run around and play and go to the beach as many times as we can in a day! It’s the best, and then I'm ready to get back to work. I have an amazing partner who I know adores our daughter and me so he's home with her after his day is done! It’s such a great balance. I can get most of my work done while I'm at work, so when I'm home I can be with my family.

XG: I have been balancing work & being a mom for almost 20 years and it is forever a juggling act.  For me it was a slow transition back to working full time once I had my first baby.  At the beginning, Morgan actually agreed to be our nanny for the first two years in LA.  When we moved to Kauai my mom stepped in in a big way and helped us as we grew our family & our businesses.  We have always put a priority on being home with our kids in the mornings before school, after school, & on weekends and somehow we have been lucky enough to pull it off.
